And I would like to take this moment to send out a big fuck-you to Blockbuster and Hollywood Video for never having what I want !
Evil is boys believing that other boys can STEAL girls from them. We are not property people !!! Somewhere along the line, we developed the ability to make decisions for ourselves. yeah. i know, crazy. Decisions like who to date, who to be friends with, and who to fucking dump. Just a thought.
Also evil, people who dont respect the separation of church and state. this has been a major soapbox of ours for many many years... Why why why does the religious WRONG insist on opposing and supporting issues because of reasons based on their faith?? Gay-marriage is the first that comes to mind.. Just once, I would like to hear a REAL reason for the opposition. Something other than, 'God ordained marriage . .. . blah blah blah' Abortion is another. There are actually a million credible reasons to oppose abortion, but the religous right isnt interested. Its always "Those damn pagan feminists blah blah blah" They're always pro-LIFE until anyone brings up capital punishment. Somewhat illogical if you asked me. Dont they understand that it could easily be the other way around?? What if some other religion (one comes to mind) came into political power? It could happen. Religous freedom is what keeps us from becoming the Taliban ! And they've got to stop the running for office on religous platforms thing. Its ridiculous. The Christians are just constantly getting PLAYED !! Any smart politician, christian or no, would claim to be a christian and bully people into "doing the right/godly thing" and voting for them. Its getting ridiculous. whew... i feel better

On the imaginary "left" and "right", political snake oil salesmen have their catch-phrases and buzz-words to press the hot buttons with the idiots who vote: "Family values" is "global warming" is "flag-burning" is "gay marriage". It's a freaking scam.

The difference is that Christians are supposed to be acting as followers of Christ, not followers of politicians. It's beyond just being played--it's being willingly commandeered. Karl Rove knew this, and played conservative Christians like cheap violins. I think churches who tell their members to vote one way or another should lose their tax-free status.
Those are the Pod People, Kathanda--a fact you're well acquainted with. Talk like we do, don't think, and listen to James Dobson. And, most of all, be afraid.
To quote a friend of mine, the mindset is "Fear the feminazis, the Islamofascists, the treasonous liberals. Fear the poor. Fear the Hollywood elite, the U.N., the New World Order. But what is beyond the pale is the rejection of left-leaning independents and Democrats. Villified is more accurate. Try being a left-leaning moderate in a southern "Christian" school. I am Satan, or at least Satan's school marm. :) I'm sure there's a porno out there with that title.
And about the movie situation, Kathanda, one word: Netflix.
