Uh oh..... The pope said something dumb... My first inclination is to defend the poor bastard because he is senile.. But what a dumb thing to say.. Could we all be a little careful with the obviously sensitive subject of Mohammad. I think its funny though, that some of the angry mobs were shouting 'down wiht america, down with bush' America is pretty much the catch-all for any and all blame thats going around.. sure we're not catholic, and the pope is actually in Italy, but no matter. Blame America. Not that we dont deserve the blame most of the time. But its nice to be able to say, " it really wasnt our fault this time" Of course, now im concerned that all the non-peace-loving and the peaceful Muslims are going to get lumped together and harrassed. .. suck.

Popes have a longsuit in saying stupid shit that gets people killed...That's how cults operate. That's what happens when billions would rather salaam whatever a guru says than exert the effort to think for themselves outside the box.
Im pretty sure that the Roman Catholic Church is not technically a cult man. And what the fuck is a felat-eer?
Also... I think freedom of speech is important, even for popes. I also think that words dont cause people to kill other people. Something else causes that, hate, ignorance, evil, i dont know man, but its not words.
Tolorance people!! Cant Islam and Judeo-Christianity just get along. There are so few differences when you really boil it down. Its like two little kids in a school yard fight. Noone knows why they started fighting to begin with, but neither of them will just let it end.
